Dear Father John,

I send you warm greetings from Kairune.

Let me take this chance to sincerely acknowledge the receipt of the funds you have sent for the construction of the staff houses.

Today, Barclays bank called me and said that you have sent Euros 12 965 and they have credit our Kairune account.

Let me assure you that this money and the one we already have will be utilized fully for the construction of 5 self-contained rooms (called bed-sitters), each with bathroom and toilet at the School of Don Cugnod.

God-willing this project will have been completed by the end of September when you come.

I wish you will come to open these houses.

We already identified the contractor who will do the work. We have the plan and we are gathering the materials so that construction can begin.

Thank you most sincerely for responding so quickly to my request for funds. I am sure this housing project will enable our staff to live comfortably within the compound as they take care of the children.
